Essay # 7: " Three-in-One" FRIEND

Do you have a friend who is like a NESCAFE? Oopss!! I know what is on your mind. You are thinking of a friend who has a black skin color, right? Well definitely, you are wrong because I am referring to someone who possessed three good qualities. Well, if you have a friend like that, you are very lucky, you know why? because he/she can make you glow even in you darkest hour and of course you will be motivated to be one of them.

As a friendly youth of this generation, I have so many friends of different personalities, attitudes and faces. Some of them are like Nescafe but one lady stood out the most among them. A beautiful, tall and young lady with a round-shaped head. Her eyes sparkle like a diamond,. Her lips is as red as an apple. Her hair is as soft as the cloud. She has a slender body and a very long legs. She is a very nice and good friend of mine that I am treating her as my mother. Her physical appearance is just one- fourth of her real personality and what I really like the most about her are her character. Let us just call her, Jopay.

Her three qualities that really made a big impression to me as her friend are: JOLLY, FEARLESS and AMAZING. Being a JOLLY person is not usual for some of us specially to a charming friend, we can't even imagine that. Like me, she is also a very jolly person . She laughs even though the cracked jokes are very corny. Her happiness' source is very low and rampant. She is fun to be with. I even remember when we were in high school, we always go to Rockwell and there she always run without any reason for running, she just wanted to do that. Whenever she is with our group, we always laugh that our stomach are aching every time we laugh. Every time we bond in school, the atmosphere is very noisy, there is no awkward silence. And she, being a jolly person is a one reason only for me to like her that much.

Another quality of her is FEARLESS. She is a very strong person not like me. She even embraces all the problems in her life. She is not afraid of solving problems on her own. She is always ready of facing the consequences from doing a big mistake. She is not afraid of anything and anyone except God. I wanted to be like her but I can't and I don't know why. And lastly, simple, she is AMAZING. Amazing, because she never disappointed me. She really treats me as her real child. I feel that I've found my third mother with her. She is a very lovable, caring and awesome friend and a great companion.

Her three qualities made her as a one person with a nice character. Like a Nescafe, there are three main ingredients that makes it a great taste to everyone. For a friend like her, she has three qualities that made a great foundation of her whole personality. Another thing is the first letter of her three qualities: J, F and A makes up her real name. And her real name is Juliecar Faith Amian, she is the best coffee I have ever known.

Essay # 6: The Feeling of Going Back Again to SCHOOL

Every teenager enjoys their summer whether go outing with their family and friends, attend seminars or sports training and even working to earn money for their own schooling. Having summer, maybe one of the best moment, teenagers most likely to enjoy. It is the time when everybody can do whatever they want, relax or keep themselves busy. But we all know that everything has end. Whenever summer comes to an end, the happy faces of everyone are turning into a lonely and sad faces because summer is going to end and everything will be back to normal.

Probably, most teenagers do after summer is go back to school. And start another school year. Me, also, have experienced that going back to school. Whenever that time comes, I feel different emotions like happy and sad. I feel happy because I'm going to see again my classmates and friends. But somehow I feel sad also because I can't do again the things I did on summer. I am going to be busy again. However, this past summer , yes, I went back to school but now in a higher level. I entered in a new community, a community of aging 16 and above. When I first entered college, I felt very excited but at the same time scared. Excited, because I will meet a new bunch of people having different personalities and faces. And also  I will have the chance to learn and adapt a new culture. Scared, because others might not like me for who I am. And being not contented with the atmosphere in college. Speaking of atmosphere, the atmosphere that time is quite different from high school because people in college now are matured to know everything  but in terms of environment: I think today's environment is the best, everything is clear to my sight.

Going back to school might sometimes tend to give us the attitude of laziness but everything will change. Don't think that when you go back to school, you will be now living in hell but imagine that in the hell, there is always a heaven where you can find angels who can be your friend and there you can learn many things. ALWAYS think that everything that you wanted to learn and know can be found at SCHOOL. And also SCHOOL ROCKS !!

Essay # 5: Ten years from TODAY ...

It was very beautiful Monday morning, I woke up very early. Took a bath. I ate a delicious breakfast: hotdog, fried rice, pancake, bread and a hot coffee. I was sitting on a pink chair in a well ventilated dining room. After eating, I fixed  myself for a very special day. I was wearing a black skirt, pink sleeveless and a white coat. I looked for my 2 inched heel shoes. And now, I am ready to go. I was driving my own pink Ford car. There was no traffic so I travelled only for 20 minutes. I had arrived at our building at exactly 6:45. I parked my car at avery big space. I got all my things from my car then went to the entrance building. Before I went inside, I told myself that “ This is my day, my first day as the President of our company”. Then I entered into the building where everyone was greeting me.

It was a very beautiful Monday morning and I woke up very early. I have realized that I was just dreaming about me 10 years from today. I started to think, what if my future will not be like that and it will just be worse as I’ve ever imagined. I felt a little bit disappointed, thinking that everything you have been working hard for many years will just turn into dusts but I will not let that thing to happen. I am young, I’m  only 17 years old and 10 years is a long period of time for me to work hard and hard and hard so that my dream will become a reality.

Well, everyone of us dreams of a very bright future. Sometimes we dreamt of having our own car, big mansions and even being CEO’s of our own companies. And sometimes we tend to be afraid when we imagine of having a dark and abandoned future. THINK POSITIVELY ALWAYS !!! Th e future is always in our hands but we must learn how to seek help and guidance from others specially from HIM. We all know that He knows what is our future. He is the ONE who can really help us reaching our dreams.

Essay # 4: One of my INTERESTS

To all the readers, who among you have any interest in physical spaces? Whenever you are in big space, do you tend to take notice of your surroundings? Well, Me? Yes! I am very much interested with this job which is interior design. But first what is interior design? According to my source, interior design is the process of shaping the experience of interior space through the manipulation of spatial volume as well as surface treatment. Another question, what do we call a person who have this kind of job? Yes, it is the interior designer. An interior designer is considered as one of the professional in the field of interior design or the one who is responsible for the interior design, decoration, and functionality of a space, whether the space is commercial, industrial, or residential.. And in order for us to be called a good INTERIOR DESIGNER, what are the qualities first that we must possessed?

First is CREATIVE, you must be unique in what you offer to your clients in order for you to bring new life to a different spaces. Your creativity can transform an old furniture into a new art. Second is the ABILITY to MULTI-TASK. Ability to multi task is very vital. Interior designing is not just designing but also you must know how to coordinate with delivery schedule of the materials, construction workers and balance it all within a budget. Third, GOOD MANAGEMENT SKILLS, this might sound like school but it is true, you need to learn how to handle stress, deadlines and multiple assignments. You need to be able to deliver management skills without comprising quality.  Fourth is GOOD INTERPERSONAL SKILLS, you are going to work with different people of different fields. You must also know how to maintain a good relationship with your contractors, architects, and most specially your clients. Fifth is, HARD WORKING NATURE, you are dealing with your own home and the designer should be worthy of the trust of the client. The one who will strive to meet your needs on time and on budget. Sixth, must have the KNOWLEDGE OF DIVERSE DESIGN STYLES, we don’t  our house to be a carbon copy of another just to complement the others. Should must have a diverse knowledge of designs, techniques and aesthetics. And lastly , the one who has the PASSION TO WHAT he is doing. He must have the genuine love to all the aspects of interior design.

Interior designer are not just the ones who put looks to the building’s interior. Yes it is but they also play a key role in putting functionality because even big houses can also lack space if it does have poor interior design. They are the people behind our colourful and meaningful society.

Essay # 3: Age Discrimination

Usually, people who are in their freshman year of college are around seventeen years old, but I ask you dear classmates, how would you react to someone who is still an undergraduate at 25, or 32? If you feel weird just imagining that, then you are discriminating a person based on age. This is obviously called age discrimination.

Age discrimination has been rampant in our country for a long time, in workplaces, schools, various communities, and most prominently, in relationships. Are you familiar with the terms “cougar” and “sugar daddy”? They refer to men and women who enter into relationships with people who are significantly younger that they are. Does it make you uncomfortable seeing a hot, young woman with a man old enough to be her grandfather, only to find out he’s actually her girlfriend? If so, why? You might argue that it’s just plain wrong. But I say you are just not used to the idea. I am completely against age discrimination, in all its forms. Whether it be at work, in school, at malls, anywhere. There are certain jobs that require a certain age to be considered, such as flight stewards or stewardesses. These are understandable, unlike other positions like a student for example. It is weird seeing a 25-year old high school student. Whether he has stayed or gone back to high school is none of our business. I believe what is important is he did go back to high school, to pursue an education. We should not care for the reasons behind it because one, it really is none of our business and two, the person might be offended.

All in all, what I am trying to tell you people is that you should open your minds a bit more, like when it comes to age for example. Never judge someone who you think is doing something wrong just because you are not used to the idea of them Don’t freak out over a 25-year old high school student, or an old man with a 20-year old girlfriend. There are stories behind them believe me, and as soon as you hear them you might not be as freaked out as before. This might sound cliché but remember that age is just a number, and you should never treat as a hindrance for your goals.

Essay # 2: Carefree

Think of an eight year old child left behind at toy store, or a college student after his/ her final exams. Imagine a couple who have their entire day to themselves celebrating their first year anniversary. Think of me, and what word comes to your mind ? I like to think that my life centres around this one word, CAREFREE.

I know that whenever you hear the CAREFREE, the first thing that comes to your mind is a brand name of a sanitary napkin. Yes it is, but you don’t know that it has a lot of meaning. For me, if I’m going to translate, this into tagalong, it ould mean “walang paki”. Yes, I am a carefree person but in a positive way. An example situation is we have a test tomorrow or project to be passed, I will not worry about these things, it will just make me stress. Do your job rather than worrying. Think oout of the box; tests and projects are just minor problems. Why should we worry little things if we have bigger problems to be prioritize ? We are just making a mountain out of a molehill.

Another thing is, it creates symbolism. We know that this is used by the women as a protection from a strange monthly visitor. I have just realized that it is very helpful. It helps a woman to be optimistic because she s confident to move or to do whatever she wants. As a woman, the napkin in my life are my motivations and inspirations in life. The things that help me to have a beautiful outlook in life.

My blog might mean unpleasant to the gentlemen and might feel a little awkward to the ladies but we do have our own interpretations. I am not telling everybody specially the women to buy and use carefree, I just want you all to know that even this kind of thing can make a big difference to our lives. If I am carefree, you, what naokin you are ?
